Bebe Rexha Has Crowd Members Removed from Wisconsin Concert by Police for Throwing Items at Her

Rexha was previously hospitalized after she was hit in the face with a phone during a New York City show in June 2023.

It’s high time we all stop throwing things at our beloved Bebe Rexha.

During a concert on June 1st in Green Bay, Wisconsin, the 34-year-old pop sensation had to call the police to remove several crowd members who were tossing items at her. This unfortunate event takes place about a year after a New York City show where she was struck in the face with a phone.

According to videos shared by fans on social media, Rexha cautioned the audience about the serious consequences of throwing objects at the stage. She said, “If you want to hit me in the face, I had them press charges to the other guy. I would love to become richer,” playfully adding that she was joking and not encouraging such behavior.

In another video, you can see a concert-goer being escorted out by the police after allegedly throwing something. Rexha addressed the audience, saying, “It didn’t have to go that far,” before apologizing for the interruption and resuming her performance.

Representatives for Rexha have not yet commented on the incident.

Previously, the Grammy-nominated artist was injured during a June 2023 concert at The Rooftop at Pier 17 in Manhattan. After a phone hit her forehead, she suffered a split eyebrow and a black eye. She had to leave the stage for medical treatment and was taken to a hospital where she received stitches.

A New Jersey resident, Nicolas Malvagna, was arrested for throwing the phone and was charged with multiple offenses, including third-degree assault and second-degree aggravated harassment. He admitted to the act, saying he thought it would be “funny.”

Malvagna later agreed to complete 40 days of community service, and in return, his charges will be dismissed if he adheres to a six-month order of protection.

His attorney, Todd Spodek, confirmed that Malvagna has voluntarily agreed to community service, which will result in the dismissal and sealing of all criminal charges. The next court date is June 20th.

On a brighter note, Bebe Rexha released her latest single, “Chase It (Mmm Da Da Da),” in May. The song marks a new chapter for the artist, who feels more confident and comfortable following her split from ex-boyfriend Keyan Safyari last year.

She debuted the song live at Coachella in April, saying that the performance felt like the start of a “new chapter” in her career. “I’ve gone through so much in the past few years that people don’t know about, and I feel like I finally have come to peace with a lot of things. I finally feel excited and alive,” Rexha shared. “It’s so awesome seeing everybody so excited, but I’m like, ‘You have no idea.’ I’m so excited.”
