Hilary Duff couldn’t be happier as she marks the first month with her newest bundle of joy, Townes Meadow. On Monday, June 3, the joyous mother shared an endearing photo on her Instagram Stories. Duff, age 36, is seen cradling her sweet daughter, who was born in May.
Hilary captioned the photo simply, “A month with this beautiful plum,” capturing the tender moment as Townes nestled close to her chest. The actress, who you may know from her days as Lizzie Mcguire, beamed with pride.
Alongside Townes, Hilary shares two more daughters, 3-year-old Mae James and 5-year-old Banks Violet, with her husband, Matthew Koma. She also has a 12-year-old son, Luca Cruz, from her previous marriage to Mike Comrie.
Just a day before sharing Townes’ photo, Hilary celebrated her husband Matthew’s 37th birthday with a heartwarming post. The couple, sharing laughs at a dinner table, looked blissfully happy.
She lovingly added under the post, “Happy Birthday @matthewkoma. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world ♥️,” attaching a video montage of family moments. The video was set to the catchy tune “That Thing You Do!” from the 1996 film of the same name.
In the same spirit of love, Hilary shared a video last month where she tenderly kissed her newborn daughter while Zach Bryan’s song “Sun to Me” played. Her caption read, “🌻 Townes girl 🌻.” In those precious moments, Hilary’s deep affection for her baby was clear.
Earlier in May, Hilary shared the joyous news of Townes’ birth with a series of black-and-white photos captured by Little Plum Photography. The beautiful images documented her home water birth, showing Hilary cherishing her newborn.
Hilary expressed her happiness with these words: “Townes Meadow Bair 🧸, now we know why she made us wait so long…She was perfecting those Cheeks!” She added tenderly, “I have been dreaming of holding you in my arms for months and the past 5 days of getting to know you, stare at you, and smell you has been pure moments of magic.”
