Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin Reunite with Their Two Kids at Son Moses’ High School Graduation

The former couple shares daughter Apple, 20, and son Moses, 18

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin reunited to celebrate a significant milestone for their family: their son Moses’ high school graduation.

On Thursday, May 30, the pair, who co-parent amicably after splitting in 2016, gathered to cheer for Moses, who is now 18 years old. The proud parents also share their daughter, Apple, who is 20.

At the heartfelt event, Gwyneth, the founder of Goop at 51 years, was seen joyfully hugging Moses. The young graduate looked sharp in his black cap and gown, complete with a diploma and a pair of cool sunglasses.

Close by, Coldplay’s frontman, Chris Martin, aged 47, was caught sharing a laugh with his daughter Apple. She looked beautiful in a white dress sprinkled with black polka dots.

Since their divorce, which ended their 13-year marriage, Gwyneth and Chris have been committed to maintaining a positive co-parenting dynamic.

Gwyneth expressed their dedication to this approach in a 2020 interview with Drew Barrymore. “In a way, my relationship with Chris is better [now]. I really wanted my kids not to be traumatized if possible. Chris and I committed to putting them first, and that’s harder than it looks.”

This commitment was evident in 2018 when Gwyneth married Brad Falchuk, co-creator of Glee, and included Chris and their children on her honeymoon.

This month has been particularly joyous for the Paltrow-Martin family. Apple celebrated her 20th birthday earlier in May. Gwyneth marked the occasion with a heartfelt Instagram post on May 14, sharing several nostalgic photos of her and her daughter.

“Happy 20th birthday, @applemartin 💕 How can it be that you are 20 today? It feels surreal! You are the most extraordinary, the most hilarious, the most brilliant.. I love your WWII insights as much as I love your physical comedy,” Gwyneth wrote. “You are the most fun to be with and you have always been. From those days when it was always you and me to now, you are my lil ride or die. You are everything to me and I am so proud of you. Have the best day, my peanut. 💕mama.”
