Wynonna Judd Addresses Fans After Concerns Arise at CMA Awards

Wynonna Judd has reached out to her fans after many expressed their worry about her health during the CMA Awards on Wednesday night.

Judd, 59, teamed up with Jelly Roll, 38, to open the awards show by performing Jelly Roll’s song “Need a Favor.” Throughout the performance, Judd seemed to be holding onto Jelly Roll, which sparked concerns among viewers.

Many fans took to social media to voice their worries about Judd’s well-being.

After the show, Judd shared a video on her social media accounts to address these concerns directly.

“Don’t read the comments,” she humorously captioned her video.

In the video, Judd confessed that she had read the comments before deciding to “come clean” with her followers.

“I was so freaking nervous,” she admitted.

Judd explained that when Jelly Roll invited her to perform with him, she was thrilled. However, her excitement couldn’t keep the nerves at bay.

“I got out there, and I was so nervous that I just held on for dear life. And that’s the bottom line,” she shared honestly.

Following her performance, Judd spoke with ET to elaborate on why she accepted Jelly Roll’s request.

“I have to show up for people like people did for me,” Judd told ET. “That’s my job now, to pass it on because people have been so generous to me, and now it’s my turn to be generous with artists like Jelly Roll. That’s what I’m doing.”
