Andy Cohen Jokes Anderson Cooper’s Kids ‘Don’t Ever Seem to Do Anything Wrong’: ‘Annoys Me So Much’

“I’m like, ‘Do they ever cry?’” Cohen joked

Andy Cohen can’t understand why Anderson Cooper’s kids are so well-behaved.

During his appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark on May 30, the Watch What Happens Live host, 55, shared some light-hearted banter about his friendship with Anderson Cooper, 56, and how Cooper’s children always appear to be so well-behaved.

“I love when you and Anderson Cooper go on daddy field trips with the kids. Who do you think is the more neurotic out of the two of you?” asked Mark Consuelos.

“I actually think I might be. You would think that he is…” Cohen joked.

“He’s pretty mellow,” Consuelos responded.

“His kids also don’t ever seem to do anything wrong and it annoys me so much! I’m like, my kid is like just out of a time out and headed into another time out. And his kids are like, ‘Yes daddy, I will do that,’” Cohen said, mimicking in a robot voice, “I’m like, ‘Do you have any issues in your home?’ It’s annoying to me!”

“I keep telling him that. I’m like, ‘This is not representative of children!’” Kelly Ripa shared.

“I’m like, ‘Do they ever cry?’ It’s very annoying,” Cohen reiterated.

Cohen is the proud father to son Ben, 5, and daughter Lucy, 2. Meanwhile, Cooper is dad to sons Wyatt, 3, and Sebastian, 2, whom he co-parents with his ex-partner, Benjamin Maisani.

On Father’s Day this year, Cohen shared a sweet snapshot on Instagram featuring himself with his son Ben perched on his shoulders. Cohen’s joy was evident as he smiled for the camera, while Ben, dressed in sweatpants emblazoned with flames, hid his face playfully out of the frame.

Standing beside them, Cooper was seen with one of his sons on his shoulders, sporting a New York Yankees cap and holding his phone. His son’s face was also adorably out of the camera’s view as he relaxed against his dad’s back.

“Every day is Father’s Day! #AC4,” Cohen captioned the memorable photo.

Earlier in 2022, Cohen appeared on Bruce Bozzi’s Table for Two podcast where he spoke about his evolving bond with Cooper since they both became fathers.

“We are these geriatric patients hobbling around chasing our children, but look it’s another bonding thing,” Cohen said humorously to Bozzi.

“I think what is going to be really interesting to us, as it develops, is being gay dads and as our kids start realizing more and more ‘Oh I have gay dads.’ I am so glad that Ben will grow up with Wyatt and that Ben will grow up seeing Anderson and Benjamin raising Wyatt and Sebastian.”
