The eternally stylish rocker, Lenny Kravitz, celebrated his 60th birthday in grand fashion in Paris! Alongside the release of his latest album, ‘Blue Electric Light,’ which came out on Friday, May 24, Kravitz combined his birthday celebration with a star-studded record release party.
Kravitz couldn’t have picked a better venue than the iconic Hôtel de Crillon for his big night. The festivities kicked off with a lovely dinner, followed by an after-party where DJ Ruckus amped up the energy, keeping everyone dancing until the early hours.
Kravitz was surrounded by his closest family and friends. Notable guests included his ex-wife Lisa Bonet and their talented daughter Zoë Kravitz. Other familiar faces who attended the event were Naomi Campbell, Salma Hayek and her husband François-Henri Pinault, Pauletta Washington with her son John David, Chris Rock, Laurence Fishburne, Colman Domingo, and Marisa Tomei.
An especially heartwarming surprise for Kravitz was the attendance of his fourth-grade teacher, Mrs. Goldberg, who traveled all the way from New York to join the celebration.
During the event, touching speeches reminisced about Kravitz’s late mother, actress Roxie Roker, adding an emotional layer to the joyful occasion.
Earlier this year, Kravitz shared his reflections on his groundbreaking career during an interview. He expressed his amazement at feeling “fresh and hungry” even after decades in the industry.
Just a few weeks later, Kravitz was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. At the ceremony, his daughter Zoë and longtime friend Denzel Washington, who is currently filming a movie, gave speeches filled with humor and heartfelt sentiments.
Kravitz expressed his gratitude for receiving the honor, stating, “It’s an incredible honor to be on this street. To be with all of these great people who have done incredible things with their lives is an honor.” He recounted his early memories of walking those same streets without ever imagining such a future.
Indeed, it has been a remarkable year for the iconic musician, who continues to inspire and entertain audiences around the world.
