The lovely couple, who announced their engagement in April 2023, quietly exchanged vows two weekends ago. They seem to be thoroughly enjoying their married life, as spotted during a shopping trip in the Hamptons.
Millie Bobby Brown, 20, and Jake Bongiovi, 22, are embracing their new life together. They were seen enjoying a relaxing Memorial Day Weekend just one week after their secret wedding ceremony, confirmed on May 24.
During their outing, Millie kept it casual with a white tank top, pink and white striped pants, and sandals. Jake opted for comfort too, wearing lightwash jeans, sneakers, and a navy t-shirt with sunglasses. They were spotted carrying shopping bags, and their wedding bands were clearly visible, gleaming on their fingers.
In one touching moment captured in the photos, Jake, who is Jon Bon Jovi’s second youngest son, sweetly reached for Millie’s hand as they walked across the parking lot.
“They both looked very happy and in love,” a source shared. “They weren’t hiding their wedding rings while shopping in the Hamptons after getting married.”
According to The Sun, the pair, who began sparking romance rumors in June 2021, plan to have a larger celebration later this year. They exchanged vows earlier this month in a “very low-key, romantic” ceremony attended by their families, including Bongiovi’s parents, Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Bongiovi, and Brown’s parents.
On May 24, they were seen driving around the Hamptons in a convertible, both looking effortlessly stylish in sunglasses, t-shirts, and jeans, with their wedding bands proudly displayed.
Millie announced her engagement on Instagram in April 2023, quoting a Taylor Swift song: “I’ve loved you three summers now honey, I want ’em all.” She later shared a beautiful memory of the proposal, mentioning that Jake proposed underwater, which reflected their mutual love of diving. She described the magical moment on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” sharing how Jake presented her with a shell that held the ring.
“He gives me a shell and I turn it over and it’s a ring,” she reminisced. Despite being underwater, their excitement was palpable. “And I think it was underwhelming, but we freaked out. Anyways he puts the ring on my hand and as I go to show him, the ring falls off my fingers, plummets like so fast, it was like a cinematic movie.” Jake heroically dove to retrieve the ring, which Millie felt was symbolic of their relationship and mutual support.
Later in April, they celebrated three years together, with Millie sharing a sweet photo with Jake on her Instagram Stories, captioned, “Three years of bliss.” Jake also marked the occasion with a heartfelt post, writing, “Time flies when you’re having fun ❤️ I love you so much.”
