Stefani shares sons Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo with ex Gavin Rossdale, who also celebrated their eldest child’s special day.
Gwen Stefani’s son Kingston Rossdale is now an adult!
The No Doubt frontwoman’s eldest child, whom she shares with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, turned 18 on Sunday, May 26. To mark the occasion, the singer shared a touching tribute on Instagram.
Stefani, 54, compiled a heartfelt post showcasing Kingston’s journey from early childhood to adulthood. The post included numerous pictures and a sweet video clip of young Kingston.
The compilation began with a charming video of a young Kingston revealing to the camera that he has a crystal ball. “It tells the future,” he says while rubbing his eyes, before adding, matter-of-factly, “It’s really hard to find.”
Set to UB40’s song “Kingston Town,” Stefani’s post featured adorable baby pictures of Kingston, including one of him drooling and another of him in a tank top that reads “Lil Lamb,” a nod to the singer’s iconic 2000s style.
The “Simple Kind of Life” singer also shared photos of a toddler Kingston hanging out in her dressing room and a clip of him strumming a guitar—showing early signs of following in his parents’ musical footsteps.
A particularly touching clip showed the now-18-year-old Kingston holding his younger brother Zuma Rossdale, whom Stefani and Rossdale welcomed in 2008.
The tribute wrapped up with more recent pictures, several of which included Stefani’s husband, Blake Shelton. “Happiest of birthdays Kingston,” she wrote in the caption. “My first born baby boy 🙂 cannot believe you are 18 today… I love you!”
Gavin Rossdale also took to Instagram to celebrate Kingston’s milestone birthday. His post included photos of Kingston with his brothers, 15-year-old Zuma and 10-year-old Apollo.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY KINGSTON,” wrote the Bush frontman. “18 today and a massive step into your future. So far the best ride of my life and I can’t wait to see where you go from here. I have total belief in you and deeply admire the man within.”
Rossdale praised Kingston’s musical talent, saying, “Your musical talent is nuts and soon the world will hear your heart sing. Follow your muse, stay curious, and keep creating.”
“I could not love you more than I do. I wish you all the happiness, all the health, and all the creativity,” he concluded. “Love you dad.”
Kingston responded in the comments, calling Rossdale the “Best dad ever” and adding, “I love you so much!”
