Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s Daughter Vivienne, 15, Listed as ‘Vivienne Jolie’ in The Outsiders Playbill
The teenager is one of six children shared by exes Jolie and Pitt.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s daughter Vivienne has dropped the “Pitt” from her last name in the Playbill for the new musical The Outsiders. The 15-year-old is listed simply as “Vivienne Jolie,” a fact confirmed by PEOPLE.
Whether this change is legal remains unclear.
Representatives for Jolie and Pitt were unavailable for comment.
Vivienne is not the only one among Jolie and Pitt’s children to opt for a name change recently. Zahara, their eldest daughter, introduced herself as “Zahara Marley Jolie” last November while joining the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority at Spelman College, as seen in a video shared by Essence.

These name adjustments occur against the backdrop of years of reports about a strained relationship between Brad Pitt and his children since Angelina Jolie filed for divorce and sole physical custody of their kids in 2016.
In August 2022, a source close to Pitt told PEOPLE that he hoped to improve his relationship with his children amid ongoing custody disputes, describing the situation as “sad.”
“Since Angelina filed for divorce, Brad has been focused on having the best relationship possible with his kids,” the insider shared. “It’s been very difficult for him. Many times, there have been long gaps where he didn’t see the kids at all.”
The source also said Pitt “misses the kids when he doesn’t see them,” and believes that there will be a time when he will have a great relationship with them again.
Recently, a security guard who worked for the ex-couple and still works for Pitt claimed in court documents that Jolie allegedly encouraged their children to avoid their father during visits. This filing was part of the ongoing dispute over their French winery, Château Miraval.
These claims followed allegations from Jolie, via her lawyers, that Pitt was abusive towards her before the 2016 plane incident which led her to file for divorce.

Vivienne’s name appears in The Outsiders Playbill as a producer assistant. Although she doesn’t have a bio, her mom’s producer details state: “Angelina is thrilled to be working on her first theatrical producing venture alongside her daughter, Vivienne, who is a theatre student and supporter of the arts.”
In August 2023, Jolie announced she was producing a Broadway adaptation of S.E. Hinton’s novel and Francis Ford Coppola’s 1983 film The Outsiders.
During the musical’s April 2024 opening night, Jolie told PEOPLE that it was Vivienne who inspired her to take on the project.
“She saw an early workshop a few times and then invited me to it,” Jolie explained.
“Viv is a young artist who focuses her efforts on her support of others,” Jolie added. “She has been there to assist in any way she can and has learned so much from [score and co-book writer] Justin Levine and the whole creative team.”
