Lea Michele is positively glowing at the 2024 Met Gala.
The actress, 37, went full princess in a romantic Rodarte aqua gown featuring a tulle cape on Monday, May 6, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
The look was a nod to the 2024 Met Gala’s theme of “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” which ties into the upcoming Costume Institute exhibit that will feature approximately 250 items — including 15 significant pieces such as an 1877 Charles Frederick Worth silk satin ball gown — that span over 400 years of history.
The dress code for the 2024 Met Gala is “The Garden of Time,” inspired by J.G. Ballard’s story of the same name.
The Glee alum announced she was expecting her second baby with husband Zandy Reich in a March 27 Instagram post. “Mommy, Daddy and Ever are overjoyed,” she wrote in the caption. The couple also share a 3-year-old son, Ever Leo.
The star hasn’t shied away from showing off her baby bump.
On April 4, Michele attended the 2024 Hope Rising Benefit at The Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City, her first red carpet appearance since announcing her pregnancy.
The star cradled her bump while posing for photos, wearing a backless red halterneck Michael Kors wrap dress with a gold neck detail.
The appearance marked her return to the Met Gala after a nine-year hiatus. She attended in 2014 and made her debut in 2012.
