Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Smile as They’re Snapped Together amid Reports of Marital Strife

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez recently spent some time together, despite rumors of tension in their marriage.

The famous couple was seen in a car on Sunday, May 19, as Affleck, 51, drove to pick up Lopez, 54, outside the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica, California. They were caught by the cameras smiling, seemingly unbothered by the ongoing rumors.

The two were also spotted walking around West Hollywood, near BOA Steakhouse and Soho House, and Affleck was seen wearing his wedding ring.

This marks the second time in 47 days that Lopez and Affleck have been publicly seen together. Their first appearance was on Wednesday, May 16, at an event for their kids, where they arrived separately but both wore their wedding rings as they left together.

In a related note, on the same day, Lopez “liked” an Instagram post by relationship coach Lenna Marsak that discussed how certain personality traits can prevent people from forming healthy relationships. Marsak later acknowledged the interaction, stating it was an honor whether it was Lopez herself or her PR team who engaged with the post.

On Friday, May 17, Marsak posted a video urging her followers to be kind to Lopez as she might be dealing with personal issues. She emphasized that Lopez is a human being, and while she doesn’t know if the couple is getting divorced, she hopes they are not.

According to multiple sources, Affleck and Lopez are currently living separately while they are both in Los Angeles. A source close to Lopez shared that Affleck has not been staying at their L.A. home but is rather residing at one of their other properties as he works on filming “The Accountant 2.” Additionally, another insider reported that the couple did not spend Mother’s Day together earlier this month.

The “Let’s Get Loud” singer and Affleck have a history together that dates back to their first relationship from 2002 to 2004, after meeting on the set of their movie “Gigli.” Lopez went on to marry Marc Anthony, with whom she shares 16-year-old twins Max and Emme. Affleck married Jennifer Garner, and they have three kids together: Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.

Lopez and Affleck rekindled their romance in 2021 and were married the following year.
