Following Lisa Marie Presley’s death, new details regarding her tragic final moments have surfaced.
Elvis Presley’s daughter, 54, experienced two heart attacks, was hospitalized and died suddenly on Thursday.
On Thursday, when she was discovered unresponsive at her Calabasas home, emergency personnel performed CPR and attempted to revive her. After reestablishing Lisa Marie’s pulse, they rushed her to the hospital.
Her relatives raced to her side as she was placed in an induced coma and on life support.
According to TMZ, her heart stopped again after she was admitted to the hospital. Her family told the physicians not to resurrect her because she had previously been proclaimed “brain dead” after being treated.
“Family members signed a DNR [do not resuscitate] order in case she flatlined again,” the person said.
According to reports, Lisa Marie Presley died instantly following her second cardiac arrest.
Lisa Marie Presley spent years surrounded by liquor, prescription pills, and illegal substances before her tragic death.
Her “drug lair” was photographed by Radar Online.
The only child of Elvis and Priscilla Presley struggled with addiction her entire life and was open about combining vodka, sedatives, cocaine, and marijuana.
The celebrity attempted to quit using drugs several times before divorcing Michael Lockwood, who used evidence of her drug use against her in court.
The images were taken in 2016 and show the inside of Lisa Marie’s bedroom, where she would shut herself up for days while engaging in self-destructive behavior.
There were multiple pill bottles, a large amount of white powder, and surrounding snorting materials like a plastic card and a split straw.
The labels on the prescription containers also said that they came from various pharmacies in various towns and states. A sack on the ground held 29 bottles, some of which were full and others empty.
A bowl of junk food, an open bottle of tequila, and baby wipes were also on the cupboard adjacent to the bathroom sink.
Michael claimed that his ex-wife used to hide in a closed room stuffed with food, garbage, and illegal narcotics. He even claimed that she had taken up to 80 opioids at once and had so many pills that she would be awake for days on end.
Her family and friends were worried that she was only one fix away from a fatal overdose.
On the other hand, Lisa Marie Presley passed away shortly after the photos were taken.
